Right now the only TV show I record is house and I watch it when I come home from work. The only other shows I watch are the NBA and the NFL. I am looking for some show suggestions to add to my recording list. I don't like reality shows and I don't like shows like Lost, mainly because I hate long cliffhangers. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. Thanks.

A new show called Fringe on FOX started up last week which is from the creator of 'Lost' J.J Abrams (i know you don't like Lost) and is a bit sci-fi, x-fileish. Possible option since it's only on its second episode. Do you like Heroes? The 4th season of that starts on the 22nd of this month. There is a show called Psych on USA that is good IMO. It's cheesy, but I enjoy it for some reason. Basically this young guy has a photographic memory, but he tricks everyone into thinking he's a psychic and helps the cops solve cases. There are other good shows, but the good ones have been running for more than one season.

You should check out this show called Funniest Pets and People. Somehow this show combines both America's Funniest Home Videos and the Planet's Funniest Animals to create a masterpiece full of cats chasing their own shadows and guys getting smacked in the balls with wiffle bats. Classic!

The new 24 prequel movie is going to air November 23; I'm actually pretty excited about it, even though I quit watching the last season after 5 episodes. I think they've learned from their mistakes and it will be a brand new start.

What karatedog said. 30 Rock is fucking funny as hell, I missed most of season 1 though. Alec Baldwin is great. Plus they just won a bunch of Emmys last night.

My Own Worst Enemy and Knight Rider are getting ready to start on NBC. I don't know what those shows are like...never seen them. Might be worth looking into.

I downloaded the first episode of Knight Rider and it was garbage. The old Night Rider was about a guy and his talking car, fighting the bad guys. This new one is about ten different people and two different love stories. To much drama and not enough action. Plus the new car can transform into a truck and kit is lame.
