Maybe you can get married K, but there is no way in hell you are having kids. Because, as we are all aware, then the alien invasion will start.

Actually, I bet your have kids the day Brian gets to stop paying child care. I can almost hear Brian's devilish cheerful voice at the thought.

To ignore all the potential business revenue from gay marriage is just ridiculous.
To ban it for religious reasons is just stupid, because it makes Mormons look like complete fucking hypocrites - there's no way they're defintion of marriage is traditional.

I really don't understand what all the fuss is about. How does permitting gay marriage in society undermind their faith? The law is only to permit it in a legal sense, and has nothing to do with religious marriage ceremonies. Technically this argument about "traditional" marriage can be extended to include all their beliefs, since views on what is traditional is different depending on who you ask.

By the way, a little known fact about Danddman that relates to the topic: I am from Utah. I am not Mormon. This whole "Protest Utah" is not thought out and does not make any sense. While the Mormon population is incredibly high in Utah, protesting Utah because of decisions made by the LDS church makes no sense. It would be like if you wanted to protest the Catholic faith, so you decided to boycott Vatican city, or New York for those of Jewish faith. The LDS faith is not directly affected by Utah economy or culture.

According to the CIA World Factbook, there are an equal number of Mormons in America than there are Jews. I am not saying that what the LDS church isn't evil, but this "Let's boycott Utah," thing makes no sense.

Plus, I don't want this place getting even more boring.

I'm anti Utah because of your drinking restrictions.

There's a lot of Mormons here in the Cleveland area. I think Joseph Smith or whatever formed his church around here. Before they moved South and then to Utah. You know when you get into certain towns and people are named Jacob and Ezekial that you're in a Mormon town.

I wouldn't worry about people boycotting Utah. It's not like you guys have any products that people would boycott. I suppose Marriott. That's about it.

They also might protest the ski industry and the Sundance film festival. Then again, with the economy the way it is, I don't think anyway except high power directors and actors will be coming out to Utah for those things.

I just saw a commercial for Utah about Skiing. I had no idea the best snow in the world was there, but that's what they said on the tv. Amazing.

I could care less, let the people who play for the oposite team get married if they want to. I think religious groups and politicians should should stay out of marrage. I'll take kevins side on marrage, it causes more problems than it's worth.

Lets say you're married and you win the state lottery for 100 million dollars you're obligated to share that money with your partner if you're married to them. Lets say if you have a cache of rare gold coins that were givin to you by a late family member, if you divorce your partner he or she could get those in the divorce.

Anyway, I don't plan on getting married anytime soon or in the future I don't want kids, and lets face it there is really no reason to get married if you don't want kids.
