I got to see them live yesterday, at their "secret" Final Dress Rehearsal which is basically them just playing their show all the way through. I've always been an AC/DC fan, and they were really good live. They played all of their classic stuff (obviously) and a few from the new CD. They also have a giant metal 'Rock N Roll Train' that shoots fire. Awesome.

They're OK, and from what I've heard they are really good live, but that doesn't change the fact that they only know how to play one song.

I'm not saying this because I was around then, because I really wasn't (Or I was in a diaper) but I really liked the original singer because they had inventive songs. And I liked, and still think their best song with the new singer is Dirty Deeds. Then they went commercial with a lot of anthems and I hate most anthems. HATE THEM!
The way it is now, I go to a Monster's game, and they play THUNDER!!! Except they turn it down so the announcer can say "MONSTERS" instead. That's super annoying. And that's AC/DC for you. Commercial rock suckery.

I agree with you Kevin. I prefer Bon Scott as well. Highway to Hell is the only AC/DC album I'll listen to consistently.

"Back in Black" was always my favorite album.
Brian Johnson gets a bad rap because of the footsteps that he had to follow in, but they did some good stuff with him as well. They still only know how to play the one song, though ;-)

I like AC DC but I am *so* sick of the Back In Black album I could scream.
Love the Bon Scott stuff. Like other Johnson albums like For Those About To Rock etc.
I actually saw them in concert when the Who Made Who album came out (Fuck that was the 80s!) and it was great.

I think this new cd is best since Highway to Hell and I agree I have listened to that since i was 13 years old / Not bad for a "one song " band . Btw I dont hav ethe link but for you Bon Scott fans . Search out this concert they did from 1977 I think . All guys in this theater are wearing sweaters, but AC/DC rocks so hard its hard to believe.
