I actually think that the song is decent.  At least they are heading in the right direction.  To me it sounds like ...And Justice for All mixed with Load, which isn't that bad of a combo.  The ending is a little ridiculous and so are the lyrics (LOVE IS A FOUR LETTER WORD!), but I'm willing to look past those aspects and enjoy the song for what it is.  Thumbs up.

That second half of The Day That Never Comes is fucking great.

Hammett's playing on this album is killer.

Fuckin hell it's not that bad, I enjoyed the whole album. After St. Anger, I wasn't expecting much but Death Magnetic surprised me. They're trying to go back to their roots. It sounds much more like Master of Puppets or And Justice for All. It's clearly not half as good as those two albums but it's definitely their best work since the Black Album. It's a good CD, stop bitching!
