Likely this was leaked early due to the Apple announcements shortly, but I do like that it's completely backwards compatible.  My girlfriend is gonna love having the ability to download a song she is listening to on the radio.  She can't remember the names of songs for shit, so this will help.

  If I could just get a device that was a cross between the Zune and the iPhone I'd be happy.  Like, I'd expect Apple to offer wireless sync so I can download podcasts without having to tether.  Maybe that'll be announced today.  We'll see.

I just don't understand why Apple doesn't offer wireless sync.  It's such a great feature.  I use my Zune for Podcasts and music and my iPhone for video and apps.  I might just glue them together.

As for why you can't sync your book.  That doesn't make any sense to me at all.  If the book is in a playlist, it should sync the whole thing, unless you are just shoving it in a folder and hoping the Zune grabs it.  In that case it might be kinda random.  Why not just import it into the Zune software and have it transfer over as a playlist?

Maybe you don't have enough space?  So it takes what fits?  I dunno.  The only gripe I have with the Zune is that 50% of the time the wireless sync fails, but that's got to be because of my wacky network configuration.  But it IS the only device that has issues.
