Same. Closely followed up by real Punk Rock (The Ramones, Clash) and Thrash Metal & Grunge.

Probably would be considered "Indie Rock" although if you strip the independent labels you are left with a lighter more odd version of alternative rock music.

I can't decide, I listen to a lot of different genres and it's hard to choose. I really enjoy hard rock, alt. rock/metal, metal, hip hop, r&b and soul, reggae, some electronic. I switch genres from time to time, like right now, I'm listening to a lot of J Dilla, Metallica, NIN, Alt. Metal and some electronic (mostly The Prodigy and Jean Michelle Jarre)

In no particular order of preference ;
1. Funk/Acid-Jazz/Funk-Jazz - Jamiroquai, The Meters, Los Tetas, Fourplay, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan,etc.
2. Industrial Rock - Megaherz, Rammstein, NiN, ASP, Emigrate,etc.
3. Modern Brit Rock/Indie Rock - Athelete, Arctic monkeys,etc.
4. Alternative-rock/Post-Grunge - Muse,Hoobastank, Autolux, Linkin' Park(Cheesy as it is, I still like it...), Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Our Lady Peace,etc.
5. Soundtrack's
