The console is only good for emulation really. I'm sure it can play video, music/etc really well too but for gaming its going to be emulation mostly. It'll have a touch screen but no networking unless perhaps over USB. This model will also feature a rechargeable battery.

Also worthy of note: This is one of the few linux game consoles that actually has commercial software being sold for it. Not much but thats still a big deal for such a tiny market.

I'm just looking for a tiny handheld emulation device. If anyone knows of any others give me the names.

I'll get it. It seems to have been good enough in the market since they've continued to keep manufacturing it. Plus this one has a rechargeable battery unlike the previous one's which ran off standards.

This is by far one of the best things you can get for emulation today. If you hadnt put a link to this up, I'd probably have gone and looked up the F200 series of the GP2x (and seen this eventually.) If you dont mind a bit older graphics you can probably put this over the DS as a less gayer console. I'll just have fun on this thing cracking out the 50 or so RPG's I've still got to play from the previous era's of gaming.
