You talking about the 360 interface?  I guess you got your Xbox back from repair.  I'm with you in that I don't need an avatar, or a Mii, or a Home or whatever folks want to do to get me to buy clothes and outfits and minigames in some virtual world.  I'd rather just pick-up and play.

But it's a money machine, and if they all can figure out a way to squeeze an extra dollar out of you, they'll do that.

Then you'll love the new dashboard. Everything is going to be organized better and there will be no loading times like what you get with the blades every once and awhile.

It better be a sombre update. Nov. 11 is Remembrance Day in Canada. I think it's also the release date for Valkyria Chronicles! \(^^)/

If you go to the microsoft website, they have a web based NXE that you can demo. I'm all for a cleaner faster interface and it seems like they succeded.

If it runs faster and smoother, I'm all for it. I'm kinda looking forward to the Netflix streaming on it. Does anybody know if they will add 4 player private chat on the update. Plus my Mii avatar guy will be naked since I refuse to buy clothes for him, unless Kevin puts out virtual VGN shirts.

I actually think its going to have 8 person private chat. Not sure though...And the netflix thing wont be available at launch.

8-player private chat would seem to bog a game down if you were playing and chatting at the same time, but if it works, great.
