I have been a Madden gamer ever since I played it on the N64, I also play Football, Fantasy Football, and follow the NFL religiously. All that being said EA Games would seem to not have put out a half-ass'd piece of shit like it would look the last few years.
   
    So lets start with the bad, this time the hardcore madden player has to go through many growing pains, just when you thought you would have an advantage going into the new game against new madden players you are wrong. Just about all the "Money Plays" you had in Madden 08 dont work because the player weapons have been dumbed down. In Madden 08 if you had a fast WR weapon and the QB had enough time in the pocket you could launch a bomb, and use the speedy WR to run past everyone for a TD. Now that same play results in magnet CB which somehow can keep up with your 99 speed WR. On defense any hardcore player used to have a set of nano blitzes to use on a given down, however you are lucky to find the same play in 09 because the playbook is 99% different. Even when you find your ol' nano blitz the opposing OL can somehow shut it down. Annoying little pieces of shit still exist in the game like when you run up to celebrate by the wall and your player does a little dance through the brick, also the player models are either correctly or incorrectly designed making some players heads look huge.

    Now with the good, although what I have said may turn people down about the game the gameplay is more realistic, which is good and bad. Going into any given game no one really has any clear advantage and there is no "perfect play" anymore. A seasoned Madden player can get by for the most part with a winning record but any game is open for grabs. Although minor annoyances exist this is by far the best Madden visually I have ever seen. This time the new features actually make a difference and there is a very cinematic element to the game. The new TD celebrations are cool and the crowd is much improved. Overall this game is the easiest Madden to get into but harder for the hardcore to adjust, but the game is solid 8.5/10.

While we all learned how to write in school, you can do two simple things that will make your writing much easier to read for everyone.

  Whenever you start a new subject, no matter how small, start a new paragraph.

  And add an empty line between paragraphs.

Do those two things, and more people will read what you write.

Anyway, I agree for the most part with your observations.  I didn't like how hard it was after doing the Madden testing, so I just made custom levels for the difficulty.  Now if I have a WR in single coverage, he at least has a sporting chance to make the grab and get a few yards.
