Just a random question. Have you ever met anybody famous? I met George W. Bush when he was running for President back in 2000. I was working at the airport and we brought his plane in and it had mechanical problems when he was leaving, so he hung out with us for about 2 hours while they fixed his plane. We just talked sports and shit. I'm not a huge W. fan but he was a cool guy.

I met this drug dealer that sold W some coke and Obama some weed.  I thought it was quite the coincidence that this guy sold drugs to both of them but why would he make that up?

I've met a ton of people that are famous.  But I've never "hung out" with anyone for any length of time like that.

I'm not much of a conversationalist anyway with strangers.  I dunno, people bore the shit out of me.  Something I should try and work on.

I met one of the linemen from the superbowl champs dallas cowboys, it was at an airport. His phone was dead so I let him use mine, he let me hold his superbowl ring for collateral while he had my phone...I was in security so I couldn't rightly run off with it. That ring was so fucking big i could put it on my thumb and it would still fall off. Nice guy don't remember his name, I met a lot of people at the airport.  But i'm not a starstruck person, i think some of them i met were kind of put off by that, cause i wouldn't fall all over myself like other people just to get a look. Save that shit for the weak minded.

That reminds me as well, I met Mankind and Al Snow at a Denny's after the Rock Bottom PPV event in Vancouver, BC back in 1998. We sat in the booth next to them. They started the conversation about The Giant (Bigshow) rumors about coming from WCW to WWF. Then about 30 minutes into eating, Val Venus came in with 2 female wrestlers and sat down. Mankind was cool, but Al snow was a dick.

Akuma, that's a badass gif, even though it's owning my boy, Iori Yagami.

Anyway, I met Chuck Norris in Dallas. I brought him some guacamole. I met this Baby from Cash Money Records (think Lil' Wayne) in New Orleans when I worked at a music distribution company. I met this black actress at a movie theater, but I forget her name.

When I worked at Nickelodeon I met Wayne Brady before he had his own show.  I didn't know who he was so it was kind of a "Hi, my name's Wayne Brady" type thing.  There was a gay co-worker who loved Wayne Brady and always made a big deal about us working with him - but nobody else was convinced he was going to become famous.

Kinda the same thing happened with Atto Bolen, who lived on my dormitory floor freshman year at UCLA.  I talked to him a dozen times not knowing he was famous, forgot about him, and now I see him doing color commentary for Olympic track every four years.

Other guys I met working at Nickelodeon were Ted Raimi and Merdock from A-Team, who were technically co-workers.  An intern told me that Busta Rhymes was in the building and we ambushed him for photos - Busta took a photo with the intern but when it was my turn he was like "I'm busy, I have to go".  I was kind of a dick to bug Busta Rhymes, but I think he was a bigger dick.

I've also "met" Chuck D and Tray Parker - but I dindn't talk to them for more than 30 seconds.

one summer when i was working i met methodman, he was signing crap at a store that specialized in selling hiphop albums.

on a separete occasion, they was filming a movie in my projects. The actor's name was Ethan Hawke. they was shooting out in the hallway outside my door. they basicly had the Ethan Hawke laying on the ground and they scattered garbage around to make it look messy and crap. they basicly had to cut the scene to let me walk by (the actor) so i could go inside my apartment.

when i remember the actors name, i shall edit this post to reflect his name. i think the movie was called "real men cry" or something like that...

they apparently listed it as "What Doesn't kill you..." on imdb

"the dominus of the black megadus"

Let's see...

I sat next to and talked a bit to Jerry Seinfeld at a Rangers game here in Texas once. That was interresting I guess.

Met Mel Gibson once as well because he picked me and my girl up in his Limo becuase our car broke down.  Seemed like a very nice guy and very generous.  He offered to give us some money, which I said no too.

My father went to school in Ardmore with one of the golden girls, Rue McClanahan, and i've met her more then a couple times because of that.

And that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

I had the chance to run FOH sound for a crap load of popular christian bands/musicians from 1996-2004. Though that probably accounts for dick here. kind of a cool experience for me, having to deal with these guys for up to 8 hours at a time. i would walkaway from each show with either no respect for these guys or tons.

i saw all kinds of sweet stuff. like All Star United  throw a punch at  Shaded Red or The girlfriend of Reliant K's fruntman (who looked like Velma ) Call her man a "f*&%ing idiot"
also dropped a wad of Gum on Steven Curtis Chapman from above while he was in the middle of a show.

oh yea, and I once hit Jimmy Eat World Fruntman Jim Adkins in the face with a bathroom door about 15min before going on stage. it was a hard hit (blood was involved). He was cool though

I met Tommy Tallarico(or how ever the fuck you spell his name) on XBL, he was semi interesting, or it could have been that there were like 5,000 people in the voice chat when ever you ran into him making it hard to talk to him.

I met Bill Cllinton at a rally in Detroit in 1995 when I was in highschool. They picked some local kids to read an essay before hand and when we were in the staging area, he came up to us and talked to me for a good 10 minutes. He asked me about what college I was going to and said he was jealous of me because I he never got to see Barry Sanders play in a live game before. Definatly one of the best experiences of my life.

I met Chuck D in college when a student group I was apart of brought him to campus for a lecture. He was real cool.

I made out with a drunken Ananda Lewis at Carribana in Toronto in 1999. Her room was on our floor, and she was partying with us.

I had tons of classes with Morris Peterson and Mateen Cleeves

I met George W. Bush at a presidential rally in 2000 as well.

I've also met Les Claypool from Primus, I just saw him walking down the street in St. Louis before a show.

Also, I met Mike Portnoy (the drummer from Dream Theater) in Chicago at a music store.  It was just a typical signing so I didn't really get to talk much with him.  I just got a pic with him and he signed some of my CDs.

I saw Herman Li from DragonForce!  He walked in front of our car when we were parking for a DragonForce/Killswitch Engage/Chimaira/He Is Legend concert in St. Louis.
