I discovered today an error in the forums here and went about correcting it.  Somehow the "VGN Needs You" post got cross-linked with the "Site Updates" post.  I erased the site updates and hand corrected the missing links for the VGN post.  Everything appears to be working ok at the moment.

This might have been a fluke thing.  However, if it's not a fluke and surfaces again, I may have to shut down the forums while researching the issue.  If that happens, you'll find information as to why on the front page of the website. 

Sometimes databases get corrupt for one reason or another.  Tonight I'm going to make a complete backup of the website and hope that we don't have any other issues.  Sometimes it can also indicate upcoming drive-failure. 

Meanwhile, business as usual.
