I never had the RRoD....
I guess cause I don't have a 360 to get a RRoD to begin with...

Never had RROD and mine is a launch unit with a production date of 10/05. Plus its gotten tons of use out of it and it sits right on the carpet in my living room, no problems. Knock on wood. RROD is a myth, Ive never seen it. People bitch about the 360's failure rate, but I bet its the same as the PS2. Do a poll on the PS2 and see how many people bought, I went through 3 PS2's, theres a reason they sold 120 million units, because everybody had 3-4 of them. But my PS3 works like a charm, no problems, since its only been turned on 3 times since I bought it almost 2 years ago. 360 FTW

I had the Red Rings of Death once, but I went to the doctor and she gave me some cream that cleared it right up.

No RRoD for me... however:
im on my 3rd console, first 2 had optical drive issues that don't throw a code up.... so they just gimme a new 360 each time.

I doubt it actually matters, but the one that died was lying down on its side. This one is almost a year old and has been vertical the whole time.

My best buddies bro leaves his 360 on 24/7 in at an game pause screen with laundry piled on top of it. kids an idiot. When it overheats his parents will just buy him another one. He's had it for about a year.

I've always had mine down horizontal... vertical doesn't seems natural when a CD spins.

Mine has gone into death mode a few times, mostly cause I added that fan to keep it cooled off. That and my woman was mucking about and it went red when she was moving the entertainment center out to get something behind it. Then _I_ had the red eyes of death.
