The case is custom on this model.

Did it come like that or did someone make it for you after you bought the PS?
that is so cool!
is there also a modchip in it?
National Console Support sold custom cases. I have had two like this. A blue one and the red one. The blue one stopped working and I'm not so sure about the red one. They both had mod chips. The Dual Shock, I believe, was just one of the colored ones that Sony sold at one point. It matched so I bought it. Not so much with my Blue one. I'm not sure if I still have the blue one. I may have pitched it or given it away.
oh so that is red, the flash made it look orange...
or my eyes are just fooling me agian....
Do you have the slim design version? I think its officially called the PSOne.
probably not, he likes to collect only one sku of a system.... but i dont know. I got a PSone with the screen installed on it, i still have the box from when i purchased the screen too!
I do not have a slim PS1. I had the intention of buying one but never found myself with the money and the interest in picking one up. Maybe down the road I'll buy a used lot on Ebay or something. I'd like to get the combination that Segamanxero has with the LCD screen attached. It makes it slightly more valuable as that would be an official pairing of components for people.

if your looking for one compleate and not just the screen, there is a special AC adapter the comes with the screen. the manual said that you cant use the orginal adapter because it may cause a fire, and you must use the new adapter. ive used both, the orginal didnt do anything....
when i find it ill post the amps and model number of it, seeing as those bits of info are the only thing to tell it from a normal PSone adapter...
I love the screen, i have found it very usefull (not just for PSone games). I was lucky to get it for $15, it was on clearance and the toys r us was closing down...
