Ah Nintendo, when you go wrong, you go wrong in a big way. The Virtual Boy was Nintendo's attempt to introduce a third platform to their line-up. An odd machine. It ran on batteries so was portable in the narrowest sense. The user would place their head on the visor and experience three-dimensional video gaming. The effect DID work rather well and a number of fun games were created, unfortunately all the graphics were done in red vector (Red lines) which was headache inducing and annoying.
At one point I collected almost all the Virtual Boy games including the Japanese titles, but later sold them for money to pay bills. I retain one or two titles in the event I ever feel like turning the system on. Which never happens.
I remember renting this from Blockbuster when it was first released. It only took me about 10 years or so to finally track one down in a Salvation Army for $20 or so. Possibly the only game system that regularly reminds you to take breaks (maybe the Wii does now....I dunno). Red Alarm is still fun though.

You're not kidding Kevin. I went to CNN and the audience was nothing but geriatrics.

The Republican Convention is always filled with a bunch of "Good Ole Boys" like a rich man's rodeo. I can't stand it.

There's a really loud southerner on CNN's coverage of the RNC. "Yeeah! Fred Thompson! YEEEEEAH!" Seems to yell "yeah" for every applause break.

Bigdog, appears your 1 year was up on 8/12/2008. It reverts you back to Normal user status when that happens.
