Looks like if you cut the cable to that light gun, and take it outside... you can get shot by some cops...
I guess that came out before video game light guns where made not to look like real guns...

New York (Primarily New York City) is the culprit behind the ban on certain kinds of plastic toy guns.  The city tried to also ban all toy guns as well.  I believe that measure failed, but the toy gun restrictions remain in effect.  And since their the largest city in the United States, everyone else gets the same kinds of plastic.

  The rules are...

Toy guns must be White, Bright Red, Bright Yellow, Bright Green, Bright Blue, Bright Pink, Bright Purple, or completely translucent.  It cannot have a laser pointer (Oh darn!) and the barrel must be closed and the manufacturer's name must be stamped on the gun.

In 1999, the New York City Council expanded and amended the 1955 law
requiring that toy guns be colored white, bright red, bright orange, bright
yellow, bright green, bright blue, bright pink or bright purple, or
constructed entirely of transparent or translucent materials.
In
addition, the toy gun cannot have a laser pointer, its barrel must be
closed and the toy gun itself must be stamped with the name or brand of
the manufacturer.
I'm pretty sure all this law managed to do was cause crooks to get real guns instead.  But there you have it.  Video gaming (And cap guns) would never be the same after 1988.

I still feel bad for Carl Winslow; I can't believe he capped that kid for having a laser tag gun.  :(

And those controllers are pretty awesome looking.

Dammit, I was gonna make a joke about overloading in my pants. Too late.

bigdog21 At:11:10 PM

I was kidding; I don't even know what overloaded means. I just overloaded my pantaloons though, I think.

NutMan At:10:29 PM

some of the older shows are in 24k. Later on with the wasteland warriors you had 120k or something but I dunno if you put those on the dvds.

Sheep At:9:20 PM

I'm feeling pretty overloaded myself. :P

Ok, I didn't reprocess the audio on the DVD discs, so I dunno what you're talking about. Yea olden audio was crappy, that much is for sure.

bigdog21 At:6:58 PM

The sound quality on the DVDs seem a little overloaded.

Jedihillis At:6:41 PM

I just got my VGN DVD. Thanks!

I will write my insurgency/zombie panic review later this week..

It wasn't overloading the connection, the volume was too high for the encoder so it encoded shitty. Turn down the volume so it's not in the red, and then it works fine. You can't overload a digital connection, that doesn't make any sense.
