"Senator Barack Obama
had a burst of publicity last month when it was revealed that his
presidential campaign had bought advertisements in popular Xbox 360
video games. In early-voting states, the ads, inserted via the Internet
in Madden NFL ’09, Burnout Paradise and other games, reminded
hard-to-reach young people to cast ballots.
But some players say they are concerned about other interruptions to their games that they consider more serious."

Dude, I thought this was about the secret Obama memo to his new staff that he wants to formulate a bill banning M rated video games and appoint a video game czar headed by Nintendo chief gaming strategist Miyamoto.
Seriously, if you're worried about gaming regulation, you shouldn't have put a bunch of Democrats in power. Cause it's coming. Kids, you're gonna be doing community service soon and the mini-game is your gaming future.

I wonder when the first video game player will be elected president.
I think people getting worked up over his 'put the video games away' statement are overreacting. He also mentioned TV. Is he going to ban all television?

danddman, I think people are more worried by this:
"He indicated that he supported parental controls for both television and video games and called on the video game industry to “give parents better information” and improve the voluntary ratings system. “If the industry fails to act, then my administration would,” he wrote."
