This week's Japanese hardware and software sales charts.

The Xbox 360 outsells the PS3 again and Pokemon drops to number 2.
This week(9/22-9/28) the PS3 not only got beaten by the Xbox 360 again, but it's in dead last with even the PS2 beating it. The PS2 sales spike might be due to the new Super robot taisen game, but who doesn't have a PS2 already? The DS dominates again outselling the Wii and PSP by more than two-to-one. Will the Xbox 360 sales hold steady at 10k or will they fall to the bottom next week? That remains to be seen.

Disaster: Day of Crisis had a very disappointing first week. Nintendo can't be happy about that one. A high profile Wii title only selling 14k in the first week? Not good. The number 1 spot went to the newest entry in the Super Robot Taisen series for the PS2, selling a very solid 366,000 copies. It's amazing that PS2 games still sell that well. Pokemon Platinum took the number 2 spot and is currently at 1.4 million in Japan. Very impressive for what is essentially the same game as Diamond & Pearl which was released over a year ago. Arguably its also the same game as it was in 1995, but thats another topic...
Other than that, there's not a whole lot to talk about. Wii Fit is still selling. What a surprise. Oh, and there were not any Xbox 360 titles in the top 30.
