Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G sets PSP record

Capcom's Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G --known as Monster Hunter Freedom Unite in the west-- has set a PSP sales record. Since its release in October 2008 the game has sold over 3.5 million copies and is a regular on the Japanese weekly top 10 list. It's the first PSP title to reach the 3.5 million mark.

I'm sure Capcom wishes that Monster Hunter could have that kind of success outside of Japan.
