Japanese software and hardware sales charts.

To no one's surprise Animal Crossing: City Folk topped the software charts this week in Japan with Chrono Trigger for the DS close behind. The Last Remnant for the Xbox 360 also debuted this week against very tough competition, but it still managed to do okay and sell over 100,000 copies.
But really, who cares about any of those games when Wagamama fashion girls for the DS is still in the top 10.

05. Saka-Tsuku DS: Touch and Direct (DS) - 72,000 / NEW
06. Hoshi no Kirby: Ultra Super Deluxe (DS) - 55,000 / 419,000
07. Wagamama Fashion Girls Mode (DS) - 25,000 / 209,000
08. Rhythm Tengoku Gold (DS) - 25,000 / 1,184,000
09. Pokémon Platinum (DS) - 24,000 / 1,941,000
10. Way of the Samurai 3 (PS3) - 20,000 / 101,000
The Gundam PSP game gave PSP sales a huge boost while Animal Crossing for the Wii only helped the Wii move 10,000 more units than normal. PS3 sales are still around 17,000 units, and the Xbox 360 is close behind this week. The 360 has The Last Remnant bundle to thank for sales up 8,000 units from the previous week.
