Killzone 2 will not have any installs, optional or otherwise.

On the official Playstation boards it was revealed by a member of the Killzone 2 dev team that the game will NOT have require an installation nor will it give you the option to do so. Many PS3 games in the past have required an installation to play. It's good to see that a game like Killzone 2 will not be requiring an install. Hopefully other developers will do the same in the future.
