  This is an old book.  There is no date or ISBN on the cover or inside.  It appears to have been rebound at the Blair Memorial Library.  This library is in Clawson Michigan where I was born in 1972.  I only lived there until 1979.  I believe it was purchased at a library sale sometime during that time, and probably predates my birth, but I can't say for sure.  It's beat up and old but complete.

Poor little Gertie is out in the snow with a high fever and no one to care for her until the old lamplighter comes by to light the street lamps. The Lamplighter is particularly a great book for young adults who are shaping their standards in relationships prior to marriage. This book has left such an impression on my life that I decided to name our ministry Lamplighter Publishing!
