Soundic TV Sports

Modified By admin on 2/22/2008 10:23:23 AM

There is very little information available about the Soundic TV Sports. It's a late generation PONG! system. You can see that it has removable four dimensional control sticks. Unlike the N64 that had an analog stick, these early analog controls typically didn't center themselves. (Although the Tandy computer joysticks did, among others.) Which was fine for a game of PONG! The Soundic TV Sports was probably meant to compete with the Odyssey 4000 series which also had four dimensional controls, a lot of variations to choose from, and a serve button. In the case of the Odyssey 4000, the controllers were the early evolution of the Odyssey 2 control sticks.

Someday you need to set these up in  a room. I can guarantee you could get featured in a few gaming magazines. How many other people have 160+ consoles?

Some sort of step ladder picture down on all the units.  I'd need about 200 square feet and a lot of freetime.  Maybe someday.  I'd really like to put them under plexi-glass cases with name plates and put them in a booth for people to look at at-something like E3 or whatever.  Maybe when I win the lottery.

Whoever buys something like a R4 for just homebrew is a fag

NutMan At: 10:08 PM

Kevin: the r4 is basically just ised to pirate ds games although it does have legit uses like running homebrew and emulators.
