Here's a dirty one for Nutman.
This is an old Sears Tele-Games edition of the Atari 2600. I'm not sure if the sticker is from the same unit, but I only had one picture, so I included it. Sears had a deal with Atari where they could make their own branded Atari items. They contracted Tele-Games to produce these for them, and this is one of those. They are functionally identical to the original Atari 2600.
I have an Atari 2600 Junior which I'll post up later. It's the same system in a different case. I thought I had some joystick and game shots but can't locate them right now. I'll add them in the future.

I have a regular Atari 2600 which is missing the ac adapter. Because of that I never played it. I hope the ac adapter for it comes in the mail soon.

my favorite atari 2600 games:
Defender
Outlaw (name? the one where 2 cowboys shoot it out against eachother)
Roundup (? The one where you are on a horse and rope cattle. That game ruled)
And of course, the classics: pac-man, asteroids, centipede, missle command . . . .

Oh yeah, can't forget Outlaw. That was one of the best multiplayer games on the 2600. You could choose different 'fields,' with the best being that moving wall that you slowly chipped away at until you could sneak a bullet through.
Not to be confused with Custer's Revenge.

It's Outlaw. And the other is Stampede.
I liked Warlords with 4 players. Maze Craze. Cosmic Ark. Space Jockey. Yars Revenge. and Star Raiders with the video touch pad.

dude, its great to see the atari pic!!! growing up, my brother and i had the atari 7800, and we would go to my grandparents and they had the 2600. oh, the good ol' days

Oh yeah River raid is awesome. I haven't played that in a long time but I remember being one of the few 2600 games that I really liked. Warlords is fun as well. Although its really just a multiplayer breakout.
I also liked some other game where you're a UFO firing laser beams straight at the ground to destroy cannons that are firing up at you...Forgot the name though. Can you help me out kevin?

Not sure. There were about 500 Atari Cartridges. So knowing every game would be a feat, since they all are very similar. Chuck Norris Superkicks? Haha...

I only guessed the game since I remember you playing it. Otherwise figuring out an Atari game with lasers and space ships would be more difficult.

I remember playing the fishing game with my grandfather all the time.
I also remember begging my dad to buy chuckwagon dog food for our dog, if you sent in 10 UPC's you would get the Chuckwagon videogame for free in the mail. I remember being so excited when we finally got the game in the mail, and it ended up being a pacman clone.

Dude! Do you still have that game? That game is really rare. At one point I think the carts were selling for around $200 each on Ebay. While not the holy-grail of all Atari carts, it is highly sought after. |

Haha, I remember those Chuckwagon ads for the free game; I think you're the first person I know of that actually had it. I remember the KoolAid Man game ad in those old comic books, but I don't think that was a free game.
